INTERPERSONAL MEANINGS

-
Interpersonal meaning relates to the interaction between the speaker or writer and the listener or reader. Its function is to allow the exchange of roles in rhetorical interactions: statements, questions, offers, and orders.
There are a number of roles that the participant can perform in the sentence Role that the participant can play depending on the type of process. Interpersonal meanings play a role in regulating and maintaining social relationships, and shows the role of participants in communication.
Interpersonal metafunction understands the tenor or interactivity of the text which again consists of three components: the speaker/writer persona (whether the writer or speaker has a neutral attitude, which can be seen through the use of positive or negative language) social distance (how close the speaker is) and relative social status ( whether they are equal in terms of power and knowledge of a subject).
Researchers are interested in revealing interpersonal meaning using the mood structure.
Example :
Rossa gave Rendy his birthday present yesterday
Partisipan aktor proses partisipan penerima partisipan tujuan suasana kejadian
Describe the experience through the process, participants, and the atmosphere of the incident. can be viewed from the point of view of the relationship between participants. the sentence is just a moment of interaction, the speaker and the listener.
